Christmas homework

Reading a bit can't be harmful... and you might not want to be the only one unable to talk about it after Christmas, i suppose... ;-)

EDIT: Our teacher want us to read it, it's not my wish...

Next, Amazon.com review:

"It has been said often enough that baby boomers are a television generation, but the very funny novel High Fidelity reminds that in a way they are the record-album generation as well. This funny novel is obsessed with music; Hornby's narrator is an early-thirtysomething English guy who runs a London record store. He sells albums recorded the old-fashioned way--on vinyl--and is having a tough time making other transitions as well, specifically adulthood. The book is in one sense a love story, both sweet and interesting; most entertaining, though, are the hilarious arguments over arcane matters of pop music."

How does it work? Blogspot for dummies.

First of all, this blog is perfectly shown on Mozilla Firefox 3. Some layout errors appear if you use Internet Explorer 6. It's not my fault, believe me ;-) Firefox FTW!

Secondly, there are two ways to contribute:

1) To post an article on main page. You must have a Gmail account and you have to be included in "Authors group". Send me an email with your Gmail account and I'll add you.

2) To post a comment on an article. Just click on article's title and a new page will appear showing the article, all comments on this article and a box allowing you to write a new comment. Should you want your name to be shown over your comment you have to choose "Name/URL" and write a name (URL is not needed).

Finally, there are some widgets on the right sidebar: dictionaries, useful links, tests, etc.

Beta testing

OK, I didn't have much time last night so now I have to check some things about "blog users" (permissions to read, to write, publishing emails, etc.) and uploading content.

Welcome mates

Hi everybody. This is our new virtual classroom. Title comes from an example used by our teacher to remind us the difference between the sounds in "keep" and "think".

This blog is intended mainly for use as a homework log, but feel free to write anything you think!
